The Town
I just got back from a family vacation in Disney World. While we were down there we saw the news reports that Disney is going to expand Fantasyland and radically change Mickey's Toontown. Since nothing ever really dies on the Internet, I'm posting my favorite Toontown photos from my trip. Enjoy!

Cold Shower
The results are in from a recent sex survey of college students. The top results for "Which innocent childhood fantasies could best morph into adult sexual fantasies?" will surprise no one who has been to a Disney-themed Tumblr:

Goosed
This Cilly Goose story from Animal Comics #17 features a Bootleg Donald in a shirt and fez.
I don't know who the creators are, but it's pretty cute. The entire comic is available for download at the Digital Comic Museum.

Here's a cute little short that creeped me out as a little kid:
Something about sentient hats spooked the beejeezus outta me as a tyke.

Famous Last Words
Let that sink in for a second. The last words ol' Uncle Walt wrote down were
KURT
MOTHERF**KING
RUSSELL.
If my last words are one-quarter that badass, it will have been a life well spent.

Another Uninvited Guest
Here's an unexpected Mickey and Donald cameo from Jerry Lewis #92:
The story is called "My Son, The Witch" and is completely awesome. My biggest comic collecting regret is this one time when I was in a vintage clothing store and saw a big box of Jerry Lewis, Bob Hope, and Mad Magazines, and stupidly didn't buy it. Thankfully now we have the Internet to find the ones that got away.

Uninvited Guest
Here's an unexpected Mickey cameo in Bob Hope #92:
I wish DC would put out an Absolute Bob Hope Omnibus, because that comic was CRAZY.

Hubba Hubba
The House of Cobwebs is to blame for alerting me to this sexy process server:
Rather racy for a Gottfredson Mickey story, no?

What the Chuck?
Regular readers of this blog know that I'm fascinated by "Bootleg" Donalds, other comic company's attempts at replicating the Disney Ducks. Today's Donald knockoff comes from the good people at Fawcett comics: Chuck Duck.
Blue suit, hat with ribbon, lack of pants... you got yourself a Bootleg Donald.
According to Cartoon SNAP, Sherlock Monk's sidekick is one of many funny animal creations by Chad Grothkopf. The above scan is from Hoppy the Marvel Bunny #1, a must-read for funny animal fans.

"Hilarious" Monkey Shines
I think I've seen this on Gone and Forgotten, but it bears repeating:
THIS IS ONE F**KED-UP AD.
I'll be seeing that Donald Duck in my nightmares for weeks.
