Somehow I don't think this boardwalk ride was sanctioned by Disney.
It's a weird world after all.

That's a rather common thing for small amusement areas. I recall going to an amusement area while vacationing in Boston as a kid and remember seeing unauthorized plankwood board drawings of cartoon characters (including Mickey and Donald) that might have dated back to the mid '60's - early '70's.
