The Shape Of Things To Come

If you haven't already done so, check out this interview with Andrea "Casty" Castellan, the creator of the story "Mickey Mouse and the World to Come," currently running in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories.

In this interview, Casty talks about the influence of Gottfredson and Scarpa, Eega Beeva, and Disney Weirdness' New Favorite Character, Atomo Bleep-Bleep.

  1. I'm enjoying this story. I like how they're using a Gottfredson character whose story hasn't been reprinted in the U.S. yet. I also like the silly side story with Pete.

    P.S. Vintage styling is cool.

  2. I haven't picked up the second issue yet, but I've enjoyed the heck out of what I've seen so far. The Pete story didn't do much for me, but it was only the first part- it's bound to pick up in later installments.
