I went to the comic shop today to pick up Buffy the Vampire Slayer #32 (Twilight revealed! Buffy's got superpowers!), and I came across this:



Fethry Duck (in his Red Bat persona) fighting The Goddamn Phantom Blot (wearing Spawn's cape for some reason). This is literally everything I want from a comic book.

All in the family

This is the Donald Duck Family Tree by Don Rosa. For a long time I didn't know that cousin Fethry Duck was included, because his face is smooshed up against the binding in the copy in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck trade paperback. Rosa based this family tree primarily on characters from Barks stories, although characters created by other writers like Al Taliaferro were included if they didn't contradict Barks' Duck Universe. Note that the nephews' father is obscured by a bird, probably because Donald's sister is a total slut.
